Responsible for planning bi-monthly meetings and external events for the chapter; works with other external organizations to plan and promote approved sponsorship events.
Revise, obtain approval, and publish the rules, guidelines and procedures for the chapter.
Responsible for developing action plans regarding issues important to historically underutilized small businesses.
Responsible for generating ideas for recruiting and retaining members. These activities include pursuing new members and maintaining a current list of members, and providing renewal notice reminders.
Responsible for all external relations with membership and sponsors. Develops marketing and communication materials related to chapter events, notices, updates and/or news.
Responsible for developing a slate of candidates to serve as officers for the chapter. Also responsible for advertising officer positions and chapter elections.
Responsible for providing education and scholarship opportunities for students interested in exploring and pursuing transportation careers.
Responsible for developing a strategic plan to generate revenue to support the chapter and its functions.
